Jared Mayerson

Hi, I’m Jared. I was born in Olney, Maryland and grew up nearby, in Brookeville. My childhood was spent growing up in-and around the DC Metropolitan area. Through my childhood I developed a strong interest in entrepreneurship and real estate through my close relationship with my father, who through his career owned, operated and, sold over two-dozen full service health clubs under multiple franchises including Gold’s Gym and later his own company- Fitness Evolution. In addition to his day to day career in the gym industry, he was involved in dozens of real estate deals- mainly Fix & Flips and Hard Money Loans around the DC Area.

I graduated from Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, Maryland enthusiastic to begin my entrepreneurial and real estate career. In the fall of 2019 I purchased my first property with the intention of rehabbing and reselling it. A short 3 months later I sold that initial property following a full rehab and was instantly hooked. Between the fall of 2020 and the end of 2021, I had rehabbed and sold 6 houses and acted as a personal lender/ private investor in 15 other rehab projects. In the summer of 2021 the next step in my real estate career became obvious. I set my sights on getting my real estate license. In August of 2021 I became a licensed Realtor in the state of Maryland. My main areas of expertise continue to lie in investment properties, particularly Fix & Flips. It is important to understand all of the costs associated with rehabbing a property including accurate after-repair-value estimates, accurate rehab-work estimates, and understanding how taxes and commissions play a role in analyzing potential profit in a deal. These are all areas that I have vast experience in, having been involved in different types of real estate deals.
